Russell Sings for you - By: Mr. R. Thorp, 09 Apr 2010
It's not a bad album which with a bottle of chilled wine & a box of choc's should get a manin any woman's good books. From a music point of view, the songs are well performed but some I thought were a little lackingin "depth". Not sure "We Will Stand Together" should have been on the album as it's based on "Nimrod", more associated with remembrance day not a lead up to a passionate night!

collection of songs from past albums - By: Real Music Fan, 24 Mar 2010
Russell is an amazing singer & talent & seems like a nice guy with solid values, and has had his share of bad luck along the way, this album was released by his old record label Universal after Russell signed to Sony, its a collection of songs from previous albums over the last ten years, with a mix of styles, Russell has always said he is the peoples tenor & not some stiff operatic tenor who will never sell the millions of albums he has & only a true classical train spotter, anorak type individual, who cant sing them self would be critical of his talent & ability, the album is ok, but the best am sure is yet to come when his first album from his new label debuts at the end of 2010,he says he is back, & better than ever, so lets wait to see just how good he is now he is firing on all cylinders!and I will let you decide who you want to see live next time they arein concert! Taxi !!!
Lots of Hype, No Substance - By: R. Millington, 23 Mar 2010
Awful, just awful. Very weak voice. Of course, he's not an opera singer (as he's marketed), has never appearedin an opera, & is nowhere near good enough to appearin an opera. Another case of the marketing people fooling a public who, by & large, know no better. Very sad. Glad he's got over his illness though; no-one deserves that.
