I purchased this having seen Florence & the machine play live. She is amazing & could not wait to hear more.
This album is fantastic, her voice is amazing.
I found my self screaming (sadly lack any real vocal talent myself) her songsin the car & struggling not to when playing this on my ipod.
I would recommend this to anyone she blew me away live (if you get a chance GO AND CHECK HER OUT) this album did the same well worth a listen, there is not a bad track on the whole thing.

And this is the cheapest I've seen it anywhere :3 Naturally I would highly recommend it but if you're not sure whether or not to take the plunge then you could check her out on myspace/youtube & the like to see if she's your cup of tea. Personally, it's the best album I've bought this year.

Lovely Lungs! - By: , 22 Jul 2010 How anybody gave this one star (or two or three or four) I do not know! I cannot describe how fantastic this CD is. It is my very favourite albumin the world & I adore every single song on it.I don't think Florence's voice is not at all screechy, on the contrary I think it is great. The harp is beautiful & all the musicin it is super too. I listen to this CD over & over again, I love it! It make me feel happy, even though the songs are based on'guilty' things, as Florence said herself. Perfect - a must buy!
