The older they get, the better they get - By: NorsieMk2, 19 Nov 2008
This has been a fine run on albums by the mighty Motorhead & this years release of Motorizer keeps this consistancy going. Never one to stray too far from their formula sound they still manage to inject that little bit of new angle to each album. This hasn't been off my ipod since I got it, a must buy for any serious hard rock or metal fan.
Awesome - By: John Atkinson, 09 Nov 2008
I'll admit that I'm not the biggest Motorhead fan but after hearing 'the thousand names of god' on Planetrock I decided to buy the album & am I glad I did. Motorizer is brilliant, not a duff track to be found & with every listen (and there have been plenty) is gets better & better,in fact it is getting more playing time than Metallica's latest offering!!
So my simple recommendation is BUY IT NOW, you will not regret it.
Simply put - Motorhead! - By: Mark Regan, 17 Oct 2008
I just got this & it was bought purely because it is Motorhead,in the spirit of the review I dug into my record collection & listened to Ace of Spades for the first timein years, its still a classic Album but since 1916 most of the offerings from Motorhead have been superiorin content, production & the way the album hangs together. Motorizer is another slice of Motorhead throwing riffs faster than anyone else with panache & style. The only band I have ever thought could be compared to Motorhead were the Ramones when they were playing live. Motorizer is proof that as he gets older Lemmy is still writing class lyrics & hooking bass riffs, the band are polished (as polished as Motorhead will ever get) & to me its obvious that this is the longest serving line up as they sound so very cohesive. They are the Grandaddies of rock & roll & long may they continue to pin our ears back & make our feet tap.
Another one in the bank - By: megadieftw, 09 Oct 2008
Another Year, another motorhead tour, another motorhead album. Looks like lemmy is set to just thunder away forever, especially if his latest offering is anything to go by.
The insanely fast bass on runaround man & rock out thunder away with tutonic ferocity whilst the slightly slower, yet no less relentless thousand names of god & heroes prove this albums metal as one of motorheads best releases. Adrenaline pumping, sweat boiling rock n roll is the order of the day here & these shoudl go down a stormer live too. the humerous child liek painting of the album art on the inside cover onyl adds to what is a solid motorhead exeprience ><
You all know the drill. If you're new then basically get this album, if you lie kmetal or rock no roll get thi album, if you are an established fan then you should have this album by now. In fact its very hard to think of a reason not to get this album right now . . .
Fantastic! - By: C. Dear, 04 Oct 2008
I don't understand why some people are giving this album poor reviews, it is one of motorheads finest albums from the 2000 era! It beats kiss of death easily & i found the songs much easier to get into than inferno. This album has some killer guitar riffs & drum tracks from the likes of "back on the chain", "One short life", "When the eagles scream", "Buried Alive". This album is deffinatley a "must have" for any motorhead fan, old or new.
