Every year round summer time there will be certain records you just hear everywhere that you can't help but like. Kid Rock's All Summer Long is one of those songs. Catchy as hell, well produced & with some genius use of samples it's no surprise this song has leapt to the number 1 spot on the UK charts.
One thing I really like about this song is that generally stations like Radio 1 tend to stray away from American Rock of this kind but faced with the song's overwhelming popularity on downloads & TV, they have playlisted the song & are now playing it all the time. It just throws a bit of diversity into the UK charts & for that I am grateful. Allin all, it's a good solid tune that pushes all the right buttons & is well worth getting.

One of Kid Rock's talents is that he can befriend anyonein the music industry. All Summer Long is a related song to his son's mother & the summer they spent together. Kid Rock's is not known as the founder of metal music, metal country & southern hip hop because he cares about what people think...if people like it they buy it. If you like country music this is the best summer song you will get for a long time, but if you are still wondering how fast your car will go, then grab a hold of sweet home alabama...cos thats the only song that will do it.
As for the pioneer of the guy who first put guitarsin rap/hip hop music & the first guy to ever rapin a cowboy hat...this is a major break of a career turn for the best friend of Hank Williams Jr & Lynyrd Skynyrd. People need to realise that Kid Rock does not rip of songs, he writes with the original artists. So if your not familiar with Kid Rock then don't discuss his music...
A breath of fresh air.... - By: P. Mcneill, 20 Jul 2008 Brilliant..... never really heard of Kid Rock before, but was hooked as soon as I heard this being plugged on the radio..... it's so nice to hear a song (sampled or not) that is quite refreshing & not the usual pop crap that we hear dayin day out on the radio at the moment...

Classic Tune - By: Ms. J. Oliver, 03 Jul 2008 This is an absolute classic tune, yeah sure the lyrics are to "Sweet Home Alabama", but who cares that was also a classic song, & at least Kid mentions itin his lyrics.
I would you rather listen to some easy listening, than constant base & dance music, or Maddona trying to pretend she's stillin her 20's!!!!
Keep it playing thats what I say.
Pleasantly Surprised - By: D. Brodie, 26 Jun 2008 I'm not usually a fan of much Kid Rock does at all but i have to say i really liked this as soon as i heard it
Of course it's not as good as the songs it samples but it's head & shoulders above a lot of the current dross infesting the radio.
Give it a listen..you'll probably like it.
