Well i was definitely expecting more from the "Queen of pop" ??
What a joke!!
TERRIBLY DISGRACEFUL ALBUM!!
i may aswell sell it on amazon now!!
Although i do warn people, dont buy it!!
She needs the help of justin timberlake on every song, not to mention the all sound the same- NO JOKE.
She also can't sing & she's trying to go hip hop at 50.
And why does everyone treat her like she's God?? She's certainly no godin my eyes.

this has to be one of her greatest albums to date,a sheer genius album with no duds whatsoever & fantastic beats on all tracks, while previous albums have had their poorer quality tracks but this album is a tour de force & i love it.
the tracks-
candy shop-3/5 neat intro
4 minutes-4/5 great track
give it 2 me-5/5 classic track with a fantastic beat(dare u not to dance)
heartbeat-5/5 another gem on the album
miles away-5/5 fantastic to listen to & a great ballad that u can dance to
shes not me-5/5 a fun track with bitchy overtones love the retroness.
incredible-4/5 it is you know

dance 2night-5/5 another one of my fave tracks(get up & dance 2night)

a few good songs on here but the majority is sadly middle of the road tat. I recall hearing the lyric "get up on the dancefloor"in 3 possibly 4 tracks on this album. Too slapdash for me, nothing interesting. Compared for instance to Britneys latest Blackout album (and I have never bought a Britney album before now) this palesin comparison. She looks fantastic though - would rather read about her beauty regime than listen to this album!!
Did I get the wrong CD? - By: J. A. Hickman, 12 May 2008 The first review is so glowing, describing this albumin such superlative terms that I really thought I'd received the wrong cd. That description certainly can't be applied to what I heard. There's barely a tune amongst the whole album, & the lyrics are a joke. Spanish Lesson? Give me a break. Someone should have told them not to bother; no amount of ProTools magic can replace good songrwriting.
Terrible album. You'll buy it anyway if you're a Madonna fan, like me, but there's very little to like. 4 Minutes is decent. That's about it.
More "Rotten Candy" than "Hard Candy" - By: E. Verchase-Manger, 12 May 2008 I'm a huge Madonna & Timbaland fan & have all of their albums. My family was really looking forward to the release of "Hard Candy" especially after Madonnas' last album. Unfortunately neither I , my husband or my two teenage children (!!!) enjoyed this album. Its more "Rotten Candy" than "Hard Candy" So if anyone wants a free album let me know before it becomes a decorative coaster !!
