SUPERB!! *** NEW FAN *** - By: M. S. Nicholls, 24 Jul 2008
I must admit that I've not submitted a review - up to now. I felt I must, after reading some of the previous reviews for this album. I first heard this album, pre-release, at the Hot Topic storein the Houston Galleria. All I recall thinking is "make a note & BUT THIS ALBUM!" I only heard the first 3 tracks, but decided to buy it anyway as soon as it was released. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! This is a fantastic album. Each song IS INDIVIDUALin my opinion & there's not one that I don't like. There are always going to be stand-out tracks on good albums, but that's not to say the other tracks aren't good. I think that EVERY track on this album is great. My personal favourites are "Deceiver" & "Indestructible", which are very catchy, but I never get sick of them. It's difficult to choose favourites, the guitar is great & the drums are outstanding, but "The Night", "Perfect Insanity", "Enough" & "The Curse" are all motivational & uplifting for me. And "Torn" is mellow, but has great vocals, with great crescendos & guitar solos - not a standout track, I agree, but still quality! "Divide" is superb &in true Disturbed stylee. I did not have any Disturbed tracks until this album. Of course, I immediately ordered all other Disturbed material & love pretty much ALL of it - except the covers; I'm not a lover of covers. But they are well done & I tolerate them. The live performances on the other albums is always good to hear. In all, I am now a BIG FAN & this band ratein my top 10, along with the likes of Slipknot, Stone Sour, Korn, Mudvayne, Papa Roach, Bullet For My Valentine, Finger Eleven etc.... Go buy it if these are the types of band you'rein to. Go buy all of it!

I own a number of Disturbed albums &in my opinion this is up there with the best of them. A superb album with a number of outstanding songs - Inside The Fire, Deceiver, The Night & Criminal to name a few. Highly recommended!
first disturbed album - By: J. Mottram, 14 Jul 2008
Before this cd i hadn't listened to any of Disturbed's music, but on amazon's recommedations it said that i might like this album. I have to admit that after listening to it fully that some of the songs can song a bit alike but overall i found it a good album. The first 5-6 tracks are the better ones thoughin my opinion.
The rating says it all-now go buy! - By: Jason Randell, 12 Jul 2008
I love this band, & to me this is the best so far. Disturbed have never dissapointed, David Draiman has a very original vocal presence & it goes handin hand with the excellent talent foundin this band. It's just great, no words can describe how great this album is, just go & buy it, it's great!
Vulnerable - By: The Doctor, 08 Jul 2008
Every band (well nearly every band) has something unique that sets them apart from all the others like some kind of musical DNA - & that is vocals. Guitars, drums, bass, keyboards, etc; most bands have them & what they don't have can be replicatedin some way. But vocalists, each one is unique & none more so than Disturbed. David Draiman's voice is so unique, constant & overpowering on Indestructible that its all I can hear. Each bloated song blurs into the next with its formula 'staccato verse/legato chorus'; the vocals mixed so high up that it totally overshadows whatever melody or hook may be buried underneath. You can only take so much for so long & sadly I have stopped digging to find it, having sadly thrown topsoil on Ten Thousand Fists & The Sickness as well.
I used to like Disturbed ... well I thought I did.
