good album - By: Jane Padmore, 21 Mar 2008
Rick Ross' long awaited second album trilla is a great follow up to his debut port of miami. The album boasts many good tracks starting with all i havein this world (Japanese Denim) Ft Mannie Fresh, The Boss With T-Pain & Speedin' Ft R. Kelly. The album also features Trey songz on 'This is the life', Nelly on 'Here I am', & Jay-Z on 'Maybach Music'. An allstar cast feature on 'Luxury Tax', including Lil' Wayne, Young Jeezy & Trick Daddy. The album ends with a fast-paced 'Reppin' My City, Ft Triple C's And Brisco, & then 'I'm Only Human'. Rick Ross states his big boss status, like he did on port of miami, with his loud husky vocals & drug lord persona. However there are not really any outstanding songs like 'Hustlin', 'Push It' & 'I'm Bad' compared to port of miami. Overall still a good album worth buying, selling almost 200,000in its first week, outselling the likes of Fat Joe & Snoop Dogg.
