Good pop album - By: M. Kendrick, 13 Sep 2007
Sean Kingston blends r&b, reggae & hip-hop.
The formula isn't new; it has been done before, most recently by Sean Paul.
However, this album does have a freshness about it which other reviewers here seem to have missed.
"Kingston" is an old school hip-hop anthem.
"Take you there" is also a slice of 90's hip-hop.
"Me Love" is a pop-reggae tune, not far from what is happeningin Jamaica at the moment, but perhaps closer to Peter Andre's Mysterious Girl.
"Beautiful Girls" had to be a big hit due to its bassline lifted, almostin its entirety from the Ben E King classic Stand by Me.
"Dry Your Eyes" is sloppy R&B album filler, & the rest of the tracks are nowhere near as good as the first six.
Nevertheless, a good debut & worth a listen.
I think you will find that this debut is much better than many of its contemporaries debut efforts.
Sean Kingston is OK... - By: Oliver Waldron, 03 Sep 2007
Sean Kingston's only good song is "Beautiful Girls" which has a cool beat. But the rest make me wanna puke. I couldn't of put 1 star, there is ONE good thing about it. If you like "Beautiful Girls" I would recommend you don't buy the album, just buy the single.

What music website says:
Remarkable debut album from US pop-reggae
sensation Sean Kingston. An album that isn't
afraid to dwell on the sunnier side of life lyrically,
this eponymous debut will appeal to
fans of artists such as Peter Andre, Abs & Sean Paul. Includes the tracks 'Kingston', 'Me Love' & 'Dry Your Eyes'.
Thats is total lie, it a load
of crap he cant sing or rap,
I dont know were your other review heard him,
blood awful!
Short Version:
DONT WASTE MONEY!
