Complete Tripe - god help this country - By: Luke, 10 May 2008
How this album has any kind of audiencein this country apart from children is beyond me. These songs are basically commercialised childrens rhymes, its seriously, mind-numbingly painful. I've noticed a formula for the typical SFG song (its not hard). Basically its about repeating the same line over & over again for the verse, then a DIFFERENT line over & over for the chorus over the back of a three-chord sequence.I know this is pop music & people are saying "its meant to be fun" & blah blah blah, well this is the musical equivalent of watching the teletubbies, its just to painful to bear. Please Britain, grow a brain & don't let this mindless rubbish insult an otherwise good music scene.

We could all make this music... - By: Mrs. Jackie Sykes, 26 Apr 2008
I'm sure every one of us could write these songs by Scouting for Girls. So why don't we? Because we'd feel ashamed, that's why. The songs sound the same, which would be bearable if they didn't sound dull, & the lyrics are terrible, bland, & don't even make sense half the time. She's so Lovely, sorry - Lov-er-ly, is a ridiculous excuse for a song where the same phrases are repeated again & again to mind-numbing effect, & Elvis Aint Dead sounds like two equally poor songs about completely different things colliding to create a cacophony of pointless noise. And Heartbeat is hilarious. "She's always up for a laugh, she's a painin the arse". Always gets me giggling. Don't buy this, it's not worth your money.
This is the worst album I have ever heard in my life. - By: Confessor., 24 Apr 2008
Please for the love of God do not buy this, it's complete garbage. Complete garbage with lyrics that are actually painful to hear. How the hell these guys got a record deal is beyond me, I've made better music having a crap.
Not for me...or anyone for that matter. - By: P. Hurley, 23 Apr 2008
This album is bad bad bad! It's not exactly pop, it's more like pops ugly, smelly, useless younger cousin. I'm really amazed someonein the A&R department of the record label saw anythingin this band. Now, I'm not one of those people who needs to hear outstanding, meaningful lyricsin a song to make me like it (or even respect it). No, I sometimes just enjoy music that just sounds nice & makes me feel good. Scouting for Girls does neither. And the lyrics are awful. I'm just really disappointedin myself for buying it.
