Makes my ears bleed! - By: Lillie2374, 01 Sep 2008
Is this what passes for talent these days?
I am so sick & tired of hearing girls only just out of school going on about how life & love has been so unfair to them, & to top it all off, she sings it allin a whiney nasal voice (thanks to the other people who commented on this too..xx).
What is it with all the angst & emotional turmoil that seems to be ripping our eardrums apart these days? Am I missing something, but I thought music was supposed to be uplifting, not whiney & suicidal.
Rhianna....do your songs a favour....get someone else to sing them, either that, or blow your nose girl!!!!
Good career gone bad - By: Koala Phil, 23 Jul 2008
Rihanna was bornin 1867, the same year as my great grandfather. According to RCA, his first gig as a conductor wasin 1886! These recordings were made at Carnegie Hall between November 1949 & November 1952, except symphonies 4 & 5 which were taken from NBC broadcasts.
After seeing a great performance of Rihanna's La Traviatain 1978, I bought Bob The Builder's rendition of the preludes on vinyl. This CD release is a must have for all fans of opera. I have always enjoyed the performances but always had misgivings about the AM radio fidelity of the recordings. Still, his arse looks great on the cover.
Fantastic! - By: Mr. M. Edwards, 30 Jun 2008
For me, Rihanna is one of the best artists around. I have been to see her live & she is a very good preformer. Good Girl Gone Bad is the best album so far by Rihanna. Umbrella & Good Girl Gone Bad being the best tracks. I would recommend people to go & buy it.
Take a bow..................... - By: N. Akor, 25 May 2008
I got this CD because of the track; "Take a bow". It's a song many a women would identify with. I just hope they exhibit the strenght shownin Rihanna's lyrics, calling it quits with "him" knowing what you're worth & seeing that there is no wayin the world to wake up a dead donkey. Patience, time & wisdom will find you a real man! Well done Rihanna!!!!!!
I Love It <3! - By: B. J. Steer, 20 May 2008
Well. wat can i say, Rihanna's certainly done it this time- its a exxellent album with a large variety of songs. You get some bands where all the songs are the same but on this slbum every song is different to the next! Its great!
