Simply the best - By: L. Steele, 24 May 2008
Just how did they decide which song should be a single. With perhaps the exception of Wooden Boat, all of these songs could have been a single. All the lads take a turn at singing lead & all take credit for the combined work. A truly incredible feat, for the best selling bandin the country to take 10 years off, not only come back but come back better. If this is a refection of what we are to expectin the future I can't wait for the next album
Believe the hype - this is an amazing album - By: M. Ladele, 17 May 2008
I didn't have a huge amount of time for Take That + Robbie, I thought they were ok, fair to middling, with some good pop songs under their belt. Then they disbandded & Gary was able to concentrate on writing & producing music, & kept popping up with some incredible songs performed by other people, his craft was honed to perfection away from the limelight.
I brought Beautiful World as one of the girls at work said that it wasn't like their earlier stuff, it was a lot more mellow & I would enjoy it. She was not wrong, I always have this on my iPod or the stereo, easily listening to it 2 or 3 times a week, still over a year since I brought it.
The songs are pitch perfect with them all sharing out the vocals so the songs sound the best, not to ensure they all get a go, the album has some slick production, but the simplest & most effective song which can move me to tears even now is Wooden Boat, which is just Jason & his guitar - beautiful.
I cannot urge you enough to buy this album, if you are interestedin an exercise of song writing craft, & to measure the depth of their talent, then turn to this CD & like me just dance along to the older stuff at weddings!
An extremely Beautiful Journey! - By: Barbara M. Lamas, 21 Mar 2008
This album is fantastic, from start to end is like a journey, and believe me, one of the best journes you can have, every song is magical & different but somehow they all fit together perfectly!

Classic - By: Book worm, 14 Jan 2008
Just having listened to this album, which i nearly played to death after it was released over a year ago, I feel compelled to make a comment. Better late than ever :)
It sounds as good as it did then,in fact possibly even better. Rarely have my heartstrings been pulled like this & I have a feeling that "Beautiful World" will be remembered as on of the classic albums of its era.
Bless you, boys................
