Meh - By: Mrs. D. A. Dilks, 06 Jan 2008
I'd recomend highly of not buying this CD, unless you intend to use itin a video (so that it isn't protected).
Why not buy the CD? Its a very good CD & film, yes, but the songs are 90% useless without the videos, like Beelzeboss. Beelzeboss is a rock off with Satan, with amazing dancing (in a sarcastic way) so, the video is kind of important for this & many others. I tried listening to Beelzeboss, didn't feel the same. There's not much pointin buying it, unless ya gonna use itin a film of somekind. Best option for you is too download the videos off of google-video (this is still staying legal these options), purchasing off of Itunes or various other options you may find (perhaps filming it ya-self).

Notes!:!:!:!:!:!:!
If you want the song from the movie (Beelzeboss) then you should download it from Google-vids, because it is slightly different & shortened downin the CD version. Also the greater version between the movie music & CD music, is thatin the film during Dude I totally miss ya, since Kage got ticked off & dropped the cup, it didn't finish. (This is possibly the only recomendation via this CD) the finished itin the cd, got an electric guitar solo, & it owns.
Far better than their last album - By: J. LITTMAN, 03 May 2007
I disagree with most of the Tenacious D fans on this site. I think this album is far better than their first one. The first one was more of a comedy album whereas this one rocks & has the comedy element as well.
Brilliant riffs & melodies that'll definitely grow on you.
'The Metal' is one of my favourites.
Some Good Tracks - By: Phillip Nejman, 09 Jan 2007
From a purely critical point of view the album alone is nothing on the first produced! However that's not to say its total crap, far from it! Although it does help if you have seen the movie! Otherwise you'll be left wondering "how, when, what" when your listening to Beelzeboss (The Final Showdown)

Allin all, i am a huge TD fan so i loved it, but from the view of the general public id say its average, hence the 3 stars!
Wonderboy? Master Exploder! - By: Mr. S. Mullins, 20 Dec 2006
Tenacious d have this strange ability of being able to create songs that seem like the bestin the universe. This album is much tighter than their first but they are both great. What this lacksin length it makes up forin ultimate rockage.
It's no wonderboy, but it's pretty close! - By: Lou-Lou, 29 Nov 2006
If you haven't heard of Tenacious D before, buy their first album! It is pure comic genius & gives you a great insight into how the 'D' think. This album is a contrast to the first, & tells a story (like the film, strangely enough!).

I imagine this album will sound pretty confusing if you haven't seen the film. I saw it before I listened to the album, & it all makes perfect sense (well, as much sense as you can make of it considering the weirdness of JB & KG!). I know it's short, but when you've seen the film the length of the album really isn't an issue.

Love it!!
