Def Leppard doing covers??? whatever next is this the swan song era now? No, definetley not! These covers aren't covers, they are recreations. In fact quite a few are better than the original - which is some compliment. Well done guys on pulling this off, as it could have been a complete disaster!

This is a swindle, period. I love Def Leppard, have all their stuff, but this collection of old classic songs is a money grabbing exercise that leaves me cold. Don't buy it, it is definitely dispensable.

It is always a sign of a bandin decline or bereft of musical ideas when they bring out a Greatest Hits album or even worse a collection of "Covers" asin this case. There seems little pointin recording a cover version of a rock classic unless you radically change it because it is highly unlikely you are going to better it. Unfortunately all these songs are pale imitations of the originals & as such come across as nothing more than a self-indulgent labour of love. There were opportunities here especially on songs like Rock On & Waterloo Sunset to totally re-work them but alas it was not to be. Should you buy this album, NO!
