I have been picking up pieces of Jenkins' pieces for a while now but i must say that for anyone new to his work or just interestedin hearing some really great music then this album hits the spot. A good collection of many highlights. I recommend it as a great general listening piece & thoroughly worth buying just for adiemus alone! Super!

As one of the current most popular classical composers, Karl Jenkins' music is now extremely well-known. It is not surprising that this CD contains many of his most recognisable themes and, from his masses, the most popular of selections. Therefore this CD is difficult to fault; it delivers what is expected & the result is a thoroughly enjoyable set of recordings. There are no real surprises here but as a compilation it is thoroughly recommended even if you prefer the complete works that probably reside within your CD collection .
