This is an excellent score to a truly brilliant film. As someone who has played this score with an orchestra it really does encorporate the true sounds of the pirate way of life. It has so many different atmospheres, the music is terific. This is a must have soundtrack!!!!!
What a tune - By: Mr. D. J. Read, 08 Dec 2006
The score to this film is truly stunning. The music is so catchy, and, more than that, has long term appeal, I'm still listening on & off since buying it over a year ago. I'm sure you know the tune if you're looking at this review.
Although the soundtrack is dominated by the said tune, there are many variations of it, & other great tunesin there. I still find track 15 the best, it is truly wonderful. And of course the price is now very reasonable, you have no excuse for not buying this.
Brilliant Music - By: DB Dom, 04 Nov 2006
Theres just something about the music, its much better than most soundtracks. So easy to just play & whistle along to. I might even say I would recommend this more than the film itself!
Loud, fast, quick & action packed, the film would undeniably have been much less than it was without this fantastic soundtrack!

This was bought for me for my birthday & I must say it is AMAZING! The tracks run into one another so it is like listening to one long piece of music.
If you loved the film then you MUST buy this! Espeically if you like violins as it has a lot of them in! The only bit that you could say is boring is the first one (after the intoduction which is exellent!) because it is slow & really isn't anything like the rest!
The whole CD is very piratey & lively. A must have!
A must have for fans of the film! - By: Nikki Jackson, 04 Jun 2006
This is a great soundtrack for anyone who enjoyed the film. With its central theme 'The Black Pearl' echoedin every track, you get a wonderful sense of unity of the whole album. It is very evocative & takes you back to some of the key momentsin the film - the first track 'Fog Bound' is very eerie & sets the mood. This is contrasted brilliantly by 'The Black Pearl' (during which Captain Jack arrivesin style on his sinking ship!) & you can visualise the swordfightin the smithy during track 4!! If you enjoyed the film, this is definately a must have CD - you can almost taste the rum!!
