"Dookie", when it came out, reminded me of early Who, who were a local group where I grew up. After hearing the CD, especially the cover of The Isley Brothers/Lulu's "Shout",in the light of their own "rock opera", "American Idiot", I wonder how they would do "Tommy". It's certainly, to me at least, an interesting proposition. How about it?

For any real Green Day Fan you must have this. It has some of the best tracks on & gives you the atmosphere of really being there like I was. Some of them even sound better than the recorded. The DVD is very watchable aswell & keeps your interst with the band although I've only seen my friends because mine even though first hand was scratched. It still rocks though.
AMAZING DVD!!!! - By: S. Harris, 13 Oct 2007 The DVD here is amazing. Its excellent to see Green Day performing live since they are so good at it. Billie Joe is a great showman, & the bassist & drummer are fun guys too. They really do perform well & I wish I could of been at this concert when it was on!!!
The CD is just the songs on the DVD but you can only listen instead of watch(obviously!). There good, but on the DVD there are parts when Billie Joe is messing about with the crowd & all you can hear is cheering which doesn't really work on a CD. But oh well. Its still really good & I would give the package 5 out of 5 because of the DVD. But buy American Idiot, because that is Green Days best album!!!
Great package for £5 - By: Macca, 10 Sep 2007 I just got this & its a great buy for £5, giving you a live CD & DVDin one package.
The editting of the DVD is very haphazard, & takes a bit of getting used to at first viewing, but there's a lot of effort gone into the presentation & editting that you dont get with bigger bands & more expensive packages.
Slightly strange watching a punk band cover Lulu's shout, but its all great fun & Green Day are a great live act. I am also now planning to see them next time round, but I think this was the tour to catch them on really.
Superb - By: C. D. Tasker, 18 Jul 2007 I was at the Sunday night Milton Keynes gig, & it was the best night of my life. So this DVD is the ultimate souvenir & is simply fantastic.
My only gripe is that it doesn't include all songs that were played, like She, We Are The Champions (from the first night), Homecoming (from the second night), Jaded (how could they include Brain Stew & not this?!) & Knowledge (where they get 3 members of the audience up on stage to play a song).
Other than that, which you wouldn't know unless you were there, it is simply fantastic & confirms why Green Day are one of the greatest live acts around.
