Maxi Priest burst onto the reggae scenein 1984 & he was an instant success for UK reggae fans. Everything he did topped the reggae charts but by 1990 he reached no.1in the US Billboard 100 with the hit "Close To You". He was now an international superstar. All his hits are here so it's a great album if you are completing your CD collection. It also features collaborations with artists such as Shabba Ranks, Tiger, Beres Hammond & Aswad. Buy this to remember how good things were before dancehall took over. (Not that there's anything wrong with dancehall reggae!)
