If, like me, you actually like listening to Christmas musicin December, you will probably also get bored with "The Greatest Christmas Album, Ever" (particularly Disc 2) & standard "Carols from Kings" type collections. Well this provides some welcome variety. I bought it especially for Noel Nouvelet (very good) & to check out some of the Czech carols, but it doesn't have the one I especially wanted, unfortunately. Nevertheless I played it several times last month. Buy it next November!

Having been a King's Singers fan for decades I was happy, but still kind of disappointed, to welcome another Christmas album from the group; this is their third such issue on CD format. Happily, the repertoire does include "novelties" (if this a suitable word for old music) & the songs are well organised. Moreover, the performances are the best so far - the recording line-up (there have been a change since :-() is,in my opinion, the best one for Early music.
