I love Run DMC they invented rap/rock & the first & best example was Rock Box which kicks *ss. This has also got It's Like That on it, but the original isn't as good as the Jason Nevins remix.

This was arguably the first landmark rap album ever produced. I say arguably as one must also consider Bambaataa's Planet Rock & Wild Style, but this is effectively ground zero of hardcore rap posturing & the b-boy braggadocio that came to define rap as a viable musical form. Yes, Messrs. Run, DMC & Jam-Master Jay would be quickly overtaken by late 80s rap legends like Public Enemy, NWA, the Juice Crew & so on, but none of them could have done it without these guys. If your starting outin hip hop, you can do no better than to start here. If you think you don't like hip hop, that its stale derivative ghetto themes bore you, get this & witness how awesome this art-form once was. Truly the kings of rap & rock.
