Tom at his best - By: Halifax, 10 Sep 2004
I must admit, I'm not exactly a fan or Tom Jones, but my sister already has this album & when I listened to it I just had to buy it. The man has an awesome voice & every track on this album is totally different. A good one to add to your collection!

I got this as a gift for my girlfriend for Xmas & she listens to it over & over & over again.. the only annoying part is that I'm not the biggest Tom Jones fan... but even I have to admit that this grows on you...
OKay - By: , 27 Jun 2003
This was okay but not as great as I had expected. Niavely thought that there would be most of Tom's biggest hits on here & be great & get up all the way through...alas not to be..
The epitome of the Big Ballad - By: Pieter, 14 May 2003
After nearly four decadesin the music business, Tom Jones is still popular due to his incredible voice & of course, a variety of intelligent collaborations with younger artists. This compilation traces his career from the sixtiesin classic songs like It’s Not Unusual, What’s New Pussycat, the country-tinged Green Green Grass of Home & the melodramatic Delilah, through the seventiesin hits like She’s A Lady & Daughter Of Darkness, into the eighties with the brilliant Kiss & up to the present with Sex Bomb & the Full Monty Medley. There will always be a place for a big balladeer, & I’d rather have Tom Jones than most of the modern ones. Tom certainly outlived his 60s rival Engelbert Humperdinck! His choice of material has always been great & his voice is perfectly suited to a surprising variety of styles. Besides, there’s the nostalgia factor – I grew up to songs like Help Yourself & She’s A Lady. This wonderful anthology deserves five stars, through & through.
