The beats on this album do not get any tighter. Vadims production alongside an excellent selection of both artists & instruments from around the world means this is an album not to be slept on.

USSR: The Art Of Listening is definitly worth a listen. Created by the russian Turntable magician DJ Vadim, & featuring such prominent artists such as Gift Of Gab (of Blackalicious fame) & Slug (member of the Rhymesayers, & MCin the innovative group, Atmosphere) among many others, the qualities of this album should be apparent to everyone, to say the least.
Vadim's production is always spot on, & songs like, "It's on" (feat. Vakill) & "Ghetto Rebels" (feat. Phi Life Cypher) are perfect examples of the quality of this album.
Admitted, there is indeed a few songs on the album which aren't hugely interesting. "The Pacifist" sounds like his previous effort, "Your Revolution", without even managing to catch the brilliance of the latter. In fact, it might even come off as a bit whiny for a hiphop head like me. But having said that, I would really like to stress the fact that this cd, USSR: The Art Of Listening, is worth a buy.
