Shakira siempre fue mi artista latina favorita; es increible lo que alguien con gran talento puede hacer cuando tiene una gran confianza en si mismo y gente que lo apoye y crea en el; este es para mi el mejor disco de Shakira, donde ella lo ha entregado practicamente todo; canciones como TANGO, SUERTE (WHENEVER) y TE DEJO MADRID son autenticos bombazos de puro rock; lindas baladas como UNDERNEATH YOUR CLOTHES, YOU'RE THE ONE, melodias pop impresionantes como FOOL, QUE ME QUEDES TU, en total, y hasta musica al puro estilo hindu como EYES LIKE YOURS; este disco es indispensable para no solo los fans de Shakira, sino para todo fan del pop en general (por cierto, que bien pronuncia el idioma ingles).

I didn't rush to buy this cd when it came out a few years ago because, having heard the single Underneath Your Clothes,and not thinking it was particularly good,I wasn't expecting the cd as a whole to be good.
There are lively & catchy tracksin english & spanish here but if you're used to listening to Shakira singingin spanish alone then the mix doesn't sound right.But even taken on their own,the songsin english on Laundry Service are not as pleasing to the ear as her songs usually are - she definitely doesn't sing as wellin english & the songs that have been translated from spanish into english have also had
the poetry taken out of them - they just don't rhyme the same & they have definitley lost somethingin the translation.I would recommend to any Shakira fan to listen to Shakira's album Pies Descalzos (naked feet) & you will hear the difference between the quality of her songs & singing on this all spanish album & the quality of what is on Laundry Service.

Great sound. A fun mix of pop rock latin sounds with some great fun songs. Tango is a highlight but the best by far is Wherever Whenever. Recommended.
excellent - By: T. O'neill, 25 Aug 2006 i have had this album for 4 years now & im still not bored with it!! all the asongs are fantastic & i have listened to it so much i can sing along to the spanish ones too!!
Sharkira brings uniques styles & lyrics to this album & there is something for everyone on here! if you like her style you can't be without this album! My favourites include ready for the good times, eyes like yours & objection punk afro remix! If you can get her limited edition one - it has a DVD with a live performance & the making her objection video!it is one for the collection!!
Great, but not her best - By: , 02 Sep 2005 This album is great & I brought it as soon as it came out as I loved the single wherever, whenever.
The other great singles on this album are objection, underneath your clothes, but also the spanish tracks especially the spanish version of Objection.
I don't think this Shakira's best album & so therefore she should not be judged by it. Don't say she is bad just because this is her first english album. You can't comment unless, like me, you have Donde estan los ladrones, pies descalzos & fijacion oral vol 1.
overall this is a 10/10 album, but buy her other spanish albums as they are so much better.
