One of the best albums of all time, you must hear this album, BEFORE YOU DIE!
Okay but.... - By: A. Moncrieff, 04 Apr 2008
People from my generation are determined by the MJ album they first owned. I had Thriller & that shaped me, definetely giving me an interestin the occult. MY cousin Kyle had this & that shaped his lifelong interestin midi keyboards & touching children.

What happened to the brilliant spoken word intro to "I Just Can't Stop Loving You?"

It went:

"I Just Want To Lay Next To You
For A while
You Look So Beautiful Tonight
Your Eyes Are So Lovely
Your Mouth Is So Sweet
A Lot Of People
Misunderstand Me
That's Because They Don't
Know Me At All
I Just Want To Touch You
And Hold You
I Need You
God I Need You
I Love You So Much"

I realise some of it might have a creepy undercurrent who believe that the child abuse allegations levelled at Michael had some credence, but what about the rest of us?
Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh memories - By: G. Richardson, 07 Mar 2008
1987... I was 15 & I knew nothing about music, until Bad came along I was known at school as a bit of a bookworm, I loved(And still do)reading. Then my mum gave me some money to go get myself a book but there wasn't any new books out that I hadn't already read so I went to the music section of my local supermarket, the only album I saw that caught my eye was the current number one album...BAD. So I got it on cassette so I could play it on my walkman & from the first song right through to the last I was completely hooked, to say this is the only album I ever listened to for a whole year would be an understatement, I went out & bought Thriller & Off the wall but after a few listens I always ended up missing Bad. This album is a real nostalgia trip for me, it's the first album I went out & bought myself & it's the first album I listened to & absolutely loved.
Michael has released a few more great albums but for me none surpass this one, this is a true eighties classic. I remember being so jealous at the time of the people that owned a CD player(I didn't) because they got leave me alone as a bonus song but it was a great relief when it was released as a single, I got my pocket money & rushed straight out to get it.
This album must be bought by anybody who was a teenagerin the eighties, it's a classic & deserves to sell more than Thriller.
Mad to Bad - By: Mr. Philip Parkinson, 13 Feb 2008
Bad, well after listening to it from first release & then watching the fall of the artist from grace, I must confess to switching off Michael Jackson for some time. The purchase of this cd & playing it again simply because the price was rightin comparison to what I paid first time round I was expecting the same response. What I didn't expect was to be told by my three children that I had bought some real music, they went mad to bad, dancing around movingin time with each track & demanding more & more of that wonderful sound. I must admit I was moved that genius still is appreciated. This is a great album, full of interesting lyrics, great tonal range & complex musical arrangements. Bad perhaps, but great.
Briliant follow up to Thriller - By: Jay, 11 Mar 2007
This album is memorable inthat I bought it from my very first pay packet backin 1987. In the style of the previous reviewer, here are my ratings;
Bad 10/10 EVen liked the Pepsi out take of who's cool too
The Way You Make Me Feel 10/10 Listened to thisin Empire nightclub at Leicester Square- magical
Speed Demon 8/10 Good song but what is this song mean't to mean
Librarian Girl 8/10 Nice slow about a mystical exotic girl
Just Good Friends 6/10 this one is a bit too poppy
Another Part Of Me 10/10 A love this song has a great beat to dance to
Man In The Mirror 11/10 No syntax errorin the 11 !
I Just Can't Stop Loving You 10/10 The first feel of the album when released. Too good
Dirty Diana 10/10 Never knew if that was based on his friend Diana Ross
Smooth Criminal 10/10 Brilliant Beat
Leave Me Alone 7/10 A tepid ending to a brilliant album

A masterpiece which should reach classic statusin years to come
