This really does represent all the best known Beach Boys hits & is great value. For me, lots of reminders of how good their harmonies really were & how hard Brian Wilson worked to achieve that "perfect" sound.

I bought this cd of the Beach Boys, because my Dad half inched my old one!
yup, Pop nicked it for his car. I can`t really complain, as I got into the Beach Boys from his Vinyl records.
But having listened to most of the Beach Boys "so called" best albums such as Pet Sounds,etc. I must admit I always go for their great Summer Sounds. There is something about the twangin their summer music, & The Very Best of the Beach Boys places the songs together beautifully like the best 50`s/60`s US DJ.
Wahts the point cruising the town listening Boom Boom music, when Rock`n`Roll is so much cooler?
The Beach Boys Rule, always did, always will.
Good buy for Beach Boys Fans - By: Barry Fellows, 06 Feb 2010 What can I say, it does what it says on the box "Greatest Hits" if you are a Beachboys fan then look no more.
This album has them all, great to listen to but even better when driving.
I would add perhaps not everyones cup of tea, my missus does not care for it, perhaps another reason to get it?
I have it on my MP3 player so listen to it when cycling on the redway system, good value well remastered recordins enjoy.
