GREATEST OF ALL TIME - By: Simplific, 28 May 2004
I've always liked LL but for some reason i had never got round 2 buyin this 1. I had 5 others though. I decided to buy this cuz its him & the cover looked wicked. It turned out just as good as his others. I took a bit of getting used to the sounds but it was quality afta 2 full listens. My favourite tunes are 'LL Cool J','Homocide','The G.O.A.T' & 'Can't think'.
This album still looks & sounds as good as it did 4 years ago.
I would well recommend buyin this album (even if its quite expensive).
Good Album - By: dickhendrix@hotmail.com, 22 Mar 2001
I gambled on buying this album, & I'm glad I did. It was well worth the money. I disagree with the title though, LL Cool J is good but he's not 'The G.O.A.T'! That would be Tupac. Favourite track on the Album is either You & Me or Queens Is which has a nice beat, I don't think there is a bad track on the Album.
Even better than the title suggests... - By: , 05 Dec 2000
At first I thought the title was a little crazy - LL Cool J Greatest of All Time? Yeah right...but I went along & bought it...and GOAT doesn't go halfway to describe how good this album actually is. The incredible beatsin Imagine That is shortly followed by easily the best track on the album 'Take It Off'. 'Farmers' is also full of quality & the album chills out a little until it blazes a few tracks from the end - 'Shut Em Down' is a masterpiece. Definitely one of the hottest hip-hop albums of 2000 - top 5 without a doubt.

The G O A T : The Greatest Of All Time - By: , 30 Sep 2000
Uncle L's back this time he's back with a vengeance. From his last album, Phenomenon, he's returned to his old roots, more aggressive, less forgiving, & without the George Michael sampling(don't worry dog, i forgive you). Anyway, all the tracks are phat, big beats, big lyrics & big collabos, from LL regulars, Le Shawn, DMX, Method Man & Redman (Hey where's Canibus? ...hahahahaha...as LL says man.."Is that really what you want?"...hahaha), etc. If you were perhaps slightly disappointed by Phenomenon, don't worry. Mr. James Todd Smith still has it. For Real. Peace.
