Cannot give praise enough! - By: W. Anders, 06 Aug 2004
A Brighter Day counts for me as one of guitar genious Jordans better efforts. Everything he does is listenable but when he goes into Rap.country it is not as fun for me...
However ABD is simply great & meant to be heard & played LOUD! Listen to Mysic Voyage (w R Ayers) & try not to Groove. Your whole inner self is smiling!
And...the whole CD is great. Not a bad song!

The perfect CD for a Summer afternoon chillin' in the garden - By: elias@bryntawe.freeserve.co.uk, 06 Apr 2001
Ronny Jordan, the King of the Jazz guitar has returned with his first album of the new Millenium & as the title suggests, this offering is a very optimistic & upbeat affair.
The album is less influenced by Hip-Hop as on some of RJ's previous outings & relies more on smooth guitar licks & laid back grooves, making it the perfect background to a Summer afternoon chillin'in the garden.
Jordan has drawn from classic jazz influences, such as the Miles Davis inspired " Aftermath " & also from the World music vibe of tracks such as "Mambo Inn " & "New Delhi" which portray an upbeat street carnival theme. A guest appearance from rapper Mos-Def closes the album with a remix of the title track. A must have for any Ronny Jordan fan or anybody looking for a super smooth, chilled out record - forget your ambient & Ministry of Sound - If you want to chill out,get some of this Ronny J on your decks!!!
