Excellent. Definitely worth investigation. - By: , 16 Sep 2001
This album is, ultimately,a collection of songs from many of the world's top hip-hop artists. At a glance, many names immediately catch the eye; Run DMC, Snoop Dogg & Ice-T are to name but a few of the highest quality rap artists on this album. Although the album may include more leftfield and/or lesser known artists, this makes no dentin the statement that almost all of the artists featured on this album are some of the world's best rappers, & they capture perfectly the emotion of the respective WWF Superstars' songs; for example, WC's cold-blooded & quick, clever rhyming vocals on Stone Cold Steve Austin's theme "Hell Yeah", complimented by Snoop Dogg's cool yet energetic motivation on the chorus; & Dame Grease & Meeno's spooky rap & beat on The Undertaker's "Ministry." Even The Rock tries his hand at rapping, collaborating with The Wu Tang Clan's Method Man on "Know Your Role." There are, unfortunately, a couple of disappointments; Chris Jericho's "Break Down The Wall" by RA The Rugged Man & Vince McMahon's "No Chance" - a complete mess performed by one or two too many unfortunate misfits of the hip hop music industry. On the whole though, this is a well rounded, imaginative & universal effort that should serve well even the loosest wrestling fan; for a rap fan alone this is most likely a good buy.
One of the best CDs for WWF Music in the world. - By: , 21 Apr 2000
The CD & the idea behind it is very original, it also uses the entrance themes for DX, & Godfather (Wrestlemania) & Big Show. it also has the method man song for the rock, the video was on Tv a few weeks ago. The music is excellent & there is a lot of cool new stuff. Buy this CD if you get the chance & thats the bottom line, if you smell what the agression album is cooking!
AWFUL! - By: , 16 Apr 2000
This CD is basically carried by two songs: Method Man - Know you're Role Run DMC - The Kings (Degeneration-X)

The rest of the songs sound really flat & boring & have nothing remotely related to the wrestler they're singing about

AVOID THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE NO TASTE

VERY disapointing. - By: themilkman23@hotmail.com, 11 Apr 2000
Having bought the previous WWF CD's (and being highly impressed) I could not wait for the next CD. How my excitement turned to dissapointment when listening to it for the first time. To it's credit, both the D-X, Run DMC remix & the Method Man's, Rock remix are both amazing, the rest of the CD falls flat on it's face. It's just that none of the songs "fit" the wrestler they are songs for. Now this would probably be acceptable if they were good songs, but, I'm affraid their not. If you want a Wrestling CD, try WWF Volume 4, trust me, you'll be happier at the end of it.
exceptionally excellent - By: , 21 Mar 2000
i don't really like hip hop that much but this c.d really is amazing. If you like wrestling the music really does suit it well. If you like hip hop this is a must!
