Can't believe no one has reviewed this! The twinkles are such a well loved bunch & this is such a top collection of tunes!! I guess you'd say they were roots reggae, so how comes they've got so much energy?! The lyrics are a classic blend of rasta indignation & rasta nonsense, & all the more loveable for it, but its the driving riddims & hooky melodies that really make this special. Reallyin it's own league & this contains the best twinkle tunes - Never Get Burn, Babylon Falling & Jah Kingdom Come - all classic rasta biblical baloney, but absolitely blinding songs, Since I Throw The Comb Away (nearest you get to social comment), & One Head (... only one head you've got, take good care of it... sage advice, but how were they at taking their own medicine?!). If you like roots reggae go & buy this. Then go & buy live at Sunsplash to hear some rocking live versions of these great tunes. Enjoy!
