An anthem for university days... - By: katfink2001, 07 May 2003
I absolutely adore this album. The songs perfectly reflect the emotional angst & deep yearning love which are the central themes to Dawson's Creek. When you listen to the songs you can just imagine scenes from the show playingin your head, or imagine the songs as the soundtrack to your own love scene. If only someone would write a song like "Stay you" for me.
When I bought this it eventually did the rounds at university & I would pass everyone's window with the familar sounds blaring out. I eventually got the CD back, it was so scratched & well used I had to go & buy another one! But it was well worth it & now when I lisetn to it it reminds me of lazy lustful days at university...
Not too be missed. Better than the first album - By: lg5hotlips@aol.com, 30 Jan 2001
As soon as I heard this album for the first time I thought wow im not dissapointed sometimes when a second album somes out tracks seem to get stuck on to fill up but this is true to form of dawsons creek. The tracks are all brilliant by skilled artists & keeps the pace of dawsons creek. Well worth buying.
AMAZING! - By: , 15 Oct 2000
If you like Dawson's Creek you'll LOVE this album. The first time I listened to it I only liked Paula Cole's "I don't Wanna Wait" the theme tune, but each time I liked another song & now I love them all! I can't really say much more to convince you....it's AMAZING! If you haven't got a copy run & get one now....and then the sequel.
Emotive, captures the essence of the brilliant series - By: , 16 Jul 2000
I found this album extremely easy to listen to, with the right mix of ballads & upbeat numbers. It captures the mood of the show, enabling the listener to relate to the characters & situations. A must for the serious Dawson's Creek fan & worth a listen by those who may not be, just for the excellent music alone.
rarely does a music selection sound so good - By: , 30 May 2000
A complete success as a compilation. I bought this feeling confident that having watched the programme a few times I would probably like a representative selection. I bought it 'blind' so to speak only knowing a couple of songs Cole's I dont... & the ubiquitous kiss me, however it is the remaining selection that impresses. With the exception of SOAP, everything is excellent. Only problem?...pre-Jack cover! recommended listening if you like this...Natalie Merchant's Ophleia, or indeed the failsafe, fantastic 10,000 Maniacs 'Our timein eden.'
