Soul destroying tripe. - By: Mr. Andrew Close, 31 Aug 2008
Having your name extended through qualifications & growing a moustache Dali himself would be proud of does not grant you default access to the soul. High brow nothingness disguised as profound music easily sways sheep. Drop the education, open your heart, & wake up.

adiemus - By: R. Roberts, 20 Aug 2008
Well i bought this a while ago now but the music is brill & was used on a tv advert for a building society & I herad it on classic fmin my car once while out with a bird & I said i will have to but this so I did. But you can probably download it now anyway like lots of people do!
Adiemus 1 - By: Jrc Salter, 10 Mar 2008
I was first introduced to Adiemus through the realm of advertising, as was most of the world. I did not know then that the music was available to buy, until I heard it on the radio. I noted down the title (unfortunately I did not hear the composer) & bought the album not entirely sure if I had made a good purchase or even if it was the same as I wanted. When I listened to it I had no need to worry. It was fantastic! I had never been into world music before hearing this but I wouldn't mind giving it a go now; for those of you who don't like that genre, it's still worth the buy as there is enough of the classical stylein there.
The album has now become mega successful & is definitely an essential album for any classical or world music fan. This is composed by the most popular living composer, Karl Jenkins, he of `The Armed Man' fame, whom I have now come to really like.
Not all the tracks are worth speaking of (mainly the ones starting with `Cantus'), but the title track is fantastic, as are most of the others.
This comesin the standard CD case with a small booklet containing a couple of pictures & a short introduction by the composer, but no lyrics (if you can call them that).
As I already said: this is essential.
Highlights: `Adiemus', `Tintinnabulum', `In Caelum Fero'.

Most beautiful music in the world - By: Suz, 03 Dec 2006
I sang Adiemus with my school choir last year (2005)in the Wales Millennium Centrein the Christmas Presence concert & I will always remember it as the most beautiful pieces I have ever come across. The close harmonies & the inter-weaving melodies really make your spine tingle & will bring great pleasure to any listener. A really great CD!
a musical masterpiece - By: , 23 Nov 2004
This album is just the most relaxing, chilled out array of music there is on offer. Its wonderful. After a bad day of traffic & noise this really sets your mind at rest & i would reccommend this to anyone who would appreciate a relaxing moment. Beautifully put together. I'm a big fan of Karl Jenkins!
