I watched Dirty Dancing about 2 weeks ago & fellin love with it. I loved the music most of all so bought this soundtrack. But then I noticed Ultimate Dirty Dancing, which is cheaper on Amazon & has all of the songsin Dirty Dancing! This one has about 12. Rubbish.

I just wanted to say that as a teenager I can honestly say that this album is brilliant...even though many of the songs are hardly modern they are so powerful & you can relate them to the film as you listen. I saw Dirty Dancing about 2 months ago & I was enchanted by it..the onscreen chemistry between the 2 lead actors was amazing & the music just swept me away. I bought the soundtrack straight away & fellin love with it! I especially like, "Time of my life," "she's like the wind," & "Hungry Eyes," they're constantly on repeat for me. I'm looking forwards to the release of Havana Nights although I am sure it won't be anywhere near as brilliant as the original. Love it!!
Excellent - By: , 14 Jan 2004 This soundtrack is one of the bestin the world. Being a big fan of the film I had to buy the soundtrack (which is quite a few years old now!!) i never get tired of listening to the music.
you have to FEEL the music... - By: Am, 17 Dec 2003 that was amazing. may i just say, there is no possible way you could be upset after listening to this. there is hope for us all, even the ones with two left feet, & there will always be love. it is AMAZING. otis redding, patrick swayze (*drrool) - what more could you want? it's just like the movie, romantic, dead funny, & rather kinky!
Dirty Dancing - Soundtrack - By: , 16 Nov 2003 I have always been a big fan of the movie as I believe it to be the most romantic feel good film ever made & it is partly due to the great soundtrack. 'She's like the wind' is my fav song on the album followed closely by 'The time of my life' & 'Be my baby'. I hope you all love it as much as I do.
