Bobby Brown had potential - By: Jay, 13 Mar 2007
Bobby Brown had potential & he showed it with this gem of an album. Hits such as Don't Be Cruel,My Prerogative & Every Little Step made him a massive draw on both sides of the Atlantic. Even the lesser known tracks such as Roni, & I'll Be Good To You had massive appeal. I just can't figure out why he threw such talent away with his outrageous lifestyle.
Pretty close to faultless - By: Mr. Philip Hackett, 30 Jan 2007
Obviously it sounds like the time it comes from, but really - there's not a bad track on this album. Okay, so I grew up with it, maybe I'm biased, but I can still enjoy listening to it nowin 2007. Give it a play or two, & chances are you'll agree. Anyone else noticed the artwork glitch on the cover?
Had to have it - By: Tasha B, 19 Jun 2005
Had this on tape when it first came outin 1988 or 9 & I just had to have it on CD. Bobby Brown at his best a must for any late 80's R&B collection.
Bobby Brown - The one and only classic - By: Mr. D. R. Jones, 03 Sep 2003
To be honest, what can you say? When this album hit both herein the UK & abroad it made waves. For many My Prerogative, Rock Wit'Cha, Roni & Every Little Step made you want to simply jump around. For me, Don't Be Cruel & the accompanying video made the album. Absolutely brilliant.
After listening to this CD I went out & bought Ralph T, BBD, Johnny G & various New Edition albums. If you want a trip back then buy this album. Easy listening, easy lyrics, easy.
Bobby Brown should never have faded away &in all honsety, should come back now & receive PROPER promotion.
