All that you could expect and more... - By: , 16 Aug 2001
Evolution is the third offering from the Boyz (not including their Christmas Interpretations album), &in December 1997 the album had gone double platinum.
The album is packed with quality tracks. In my opinion all but one of the tracks (Girlin the Life Magazine) are world class.
After listening to this album, it is easy to see why Boyz II Men have won an American Music Award (for Favourite Soul/R&B Band), 2 Grammy's (nominated for many more over the years), & won various other awards over the years.
This album had a lot to live up to; their previous offering, II, went twelve times platinum (in under 2 years) - & I think they have exceeded all that was expected of them.
Tracks to note include Doin Just Fine, Never, 4 Seasons of Loneliness, A Song for Mama & Human II.
Other recommendations not on this album include II & Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya. Also look out for a song by Shawn Stockman entitled 'Visions of a Sunset' (found on an album called Mr. Holland's Opus); it is a chilled out song that pleases the mind & captures the heart.

Soulful, Real R&B - By: , 04 Dec 2000
This album is REAL R&B. This album is rightly called 'Evoloution' as it documents the bands changein style of music from when they were signed with Motown records. The songs 'Doin just fine', 'Never', '4 seasons of lonleiness' & 'A song for muma' display the groups perfect use of harmony & ability for great song writing. This album has the ability to make you cry, warm the soul & move the body! Dont settle for anything less! A well deserved 5 stars!
