Dark humor, Guns and Cockney rhyming slang. - By: T. Glover, 23 Jul 2008
Lock, stock & 2 smoking barrels is a crime tale about a group of friends from London who happen to lose a game of poker, they end upin a lot of debt thus having to get out of it. The story takes many twists & turns & will also make you laugh as it has a very good use of wry & dark humor. The plot evolves around one man but there are many characters who share as if not more an important role. The star of the showin this movie is Vinnie Jones who acts brilliantly.
I recomed 'Snatch' If you like this.
The Gangster Of Slang - By: Charles Teen, 24 Mar 2008
This is the best British gangster film of all-time. It is The Sex Pistols of the cinema & the West Ham Utd of movies.
I can give it no higher praise or pay it a bigger compliment than saying it is up there with `Stop THe Ride I Want To Get Off` by Dave Courtney & `Till Death Us Do Part` by Garry Jackson.
I have this classic crime thriller at the cinema,in video & DVD & every time I watch it - it gets better.
fun british crime caper - By: mike clarke, 01 Jan 2008
lock, stock & two smoking barrels is a fun british crime caper. With great writing, directing, acting, characthers, music, scenes, one liners & sets. It has brilliant gory action scenes, drugs, sex, guns, cockney accents, liverpudlian robbers, afros, traffic wardens, debt collectors, poker games & the best ending since the italian job. Its a perfect boozy lads friday night movie with breakthrough performances (vinnie jones, jason stathan) breakthrough directors & producers (guy ritchie & matthew vaughan) &in itself is a breakthrough film.

Special Film - By: Steve Allen, 27 Dec 2007
The best gangster film ever made. I have seen thisin every format - DVD - Video - & with my ex-wife & the love of my life on the big screen at Southend.
Vinnie Jones was brilliant as the dodgy Dave Courtney inspired gangster & proved he was a better actor then he ever was a footballer.
