both the above reviews are spot on. this album is worth its weightin gold to the budding dj (if it doesn't destroy their fragile egoes with flex's mighty skills ;)
not quite old enough for old-skool but it cuts the mustard ! - By: eleanorthomas@lucent.com, 31 Jan 2000 Funkmasrer flex is a new york DJ & has a weekly radio show on HOT 97 which is a hip hop station.
This is his first 60 minute mix album & to be honest his best. He cuts & scratches from old-school classics to r & b with ease, Producing wicked beats & a true head nodding flava. Check out the KRS One accapella on the last track. Flex is obviously well respected & with good cause! I advise everyone to buy a copy of this & play very loudly on saturday afternoons!
This is just Wicked!!!! - By: , 24 Nov 1999 Talk about old school....If you remember tunes from 4 years ago then you will dig this album. The mixing & scratching is just awsome & the rappers are all truely established peeps!!!!!! I paid full price for this album & it was worth every penny!
