perfect - By: Mr. S. Gajewski, 30 Apr 2008
This is maybe the perfect pop punk album of all time, most people say they grow out of green day, but I dont care, this still rocks to me. This album got me into songs & playing music when I was 13. Just listen to the first 30 seconds of the first song, how can this not appeal to you?!

This is perfect stuff from start to finish. This was their finest moment, they couldnt top this album & not many pop bands will. Perfect pop punk, great lyrics... its just a shame that most people associate them with the american idiot album now, rather than this classic.

Green day were my ramones!
Excellent!!! - By: S. Harris, 04 Feb 2008
This album is amazing!!!! I bought the album AMERICAN IDIOT backin 2004 & loved it - my favourite album EVER. So I decided to investin some other albums that Green Day have made.
This album has lots of amzing songs on it, he best being 'Good Riddance(Time Of Your Life)'. 'Scattered' is a cool little pop-rock tune with an excellent chorus. The song 'Take back' is one of the grittiest songs Green Day have done with the lead singer verging on screaming during certain parts of the song. 'King For A Day' provides a song with refreshingly different lyrics & a good chorus.
I think that is what makes this album so excellent: Green Day cover lots of different genres of rock so there is something for everyone. NIMROD is one of the best albums ever made.
A good album - By: Vampyr, 29 Aug 2007
I know other reviewers have said how they have to bein the right mood to listen to it, & I agree with them. This is not as good as American Idiot, but is fun & rocky just the same. It is not a waste of money, & I really recommend buying it.

Includes the singles: Hitchin' A Ride, Good Riddance (Time of your Life), Redundant & Nice Guys Finish Last
Ten Years On - By: SMB Metal, 11 Mar 2007
After ten years since the release of this album, this is still a good Green Day album. Many people who I know believe this is their strongest album. Only 'Good Riddance' is the most played track off this album on the music channels.

I don't personally feel that this is their strongest album & I tend to have to bein the right mood to listen to it & enjoy it, where as 'Dookie & Insomniac' impress stright away.

I would certainly recommend buying it though, 18 tracks makes it good value too.
Another good album - By: ParanoidAndroid, 23 Nov 2006
This is another good Green Day album. Most of the tracks are worth listening to. Nice Guys Finish Last, The Grouch, Redundant, Scattered, All the Time, Worry Rock,Uptight, Walking Alone & Prosthetic Head are all good songs. Jinx, Haushinka & Reject are a bit samey for me. Platypus is too fast to really grow on you & Take Back is a bit too heavy. Last Ride In is good but I think you have to bein a certain kind of mood to listen to it. The best tracks are Hitchin' A Ride, King For A Day & Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life).
