Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

By using this service you can usually save a lot of money as prices charged by online shops can vary enormously. We take all the hard work out of finding the best deal and try to make it as easy as possible for you to use.

Is this a shop? Do you sell anything?
No, we're not a shop and we don't sell anything. We simply tell you how much other shops sell the item you're interested in for and provide you with a link to those shops if you want more information or if you decide to buy. So we don't sell anything - we just provide a useful price comparison service.

Searching for a CD
To find a particular CD, enter the title or artist in the box at the top of the page and click the 'Search Now' button. We will then return a list of all CDs in our database that match. You do not need to enter everything, just enough to identify the CD. E.g. entering "Harry Potter" will return all CDs whose titles contain 'Harry Potter' plus any who have a director or actor called 'Harry Potter'

Alternatively, you can browse through our hierarchy of categories, which you will find at the bottom of all our pages.

Once you have a list of CDs from either of the above two methods you can click on the one you're interested in to get more details and a comparison of prices. If lots of CDs were found you may need to click on the 'Next Results' button for the next page.

Once you've clicked a CD title and got a comparison of prices you can click on the link to the shop you'd like to buy from. This will take you (in a separate window) to that shop where you can read more about the item and go on to buy it.

Shop postage charges
Many shops quote CD prices without making it clear what they charge for postage until you've either searched through their site to find the small print or else when you get to the checkout to buy it. This makes it even harder to compare prices between shops as you need to know exactly what it will cost before you go ahead and buy.

Our free price comparison service INCLUDES the shops postage charges, so when you see their prices listed in the table after performing a price comparison you will be able to see exactly which the cheapest is as the total price includes their postage charges.

Is this service really free?!
Yes! You tell us what item you're interested in, we tell you what the top UK shops charge and you can then go to any of those shops to buy it. This is a totall free service that is designed to save you money!

If you have a problem buying an item from a shop we include in our price comparison, please direct your queries to them. We don't have any record or control over purchases that you make at these shops as we just provide information on the prices they charge, so you will need to contact them to resolve any problems or queries you may have about an order.
